Labcraft design and manufacture LED lighting for the commercial and emergency vehicle sectors, selling to 32 countries around the world. These low voltage products have diversified into many other applications such as commercial, marine and leisure. Established in 1956 Labcraft have a developed a strong reputation for innovative high quality lighting solutions with distinctive design features.
All aspects of technical and product design are carried out in-house, with 100% of Labcraft’s LED products manufactured in UK within the 15,000 square foot factory in Saffron Walden, Essex. Last year Labcraft produced over 300,000 lights utilising 4.5 million high quality Cree LED devices.
Labcraft is a family run business committed to providing customers with the highest quality of both products and service. Labcraft have doubled their workforce and turnover in the past 5 years, with plans for further expansion into new markets in the coming years.
Labcraft and the Environment
A strong environmental ethos runs through the whole business, and we are committed to reducing our impact each year.
Based on a 186 acre organic farm in rural Essex our headquarters are heated using a biomass boiler and each year thousands of trees are planted to offset the carbon footprint of the business. We are already generating our own energy from solar panels and plans for the future include power generation from the utilisation of a wind turbine.
