Labcraft 20 Lux Lighting - 5 Year Price Fix

In the current economic climate doom and gloom is common place but Labcraft intends to brighten up the day for customers looking to meet current health and safety light level recommendations.
If you would like to illuminate your van to a minimum of 20 Lux, as recommended by HSE guidelines, Labcraft are pleased to announce a price fix on the popular 12 volt, 13 watt Batten Light. Two x 13 watt Batten Lights installed in an average size long wheel base van will offer up to 25 Lux at floor level. Prices will be fixed from September 2008 to September 2013.

Five year fixed price is base on a minimum order of 2000 lights spread over a 5 year period with a monthly call off delivery. Any adjustments to the standard terms of this offer must be done so in writing prior to the first delivery.
Labcraft Re-launch Weatherproof Timer Switch

Saving energy is a key concern of many companies running a commercial vehicle fleet. Only using energy when it is needed has to be the responsibility of vehicle users but in today’s fast paced environment it often takes a back seat.
Labcraft want to make it easier to save the amount of wasted energy being used in commercial vehicles and have re-launched an updated version of the TSWP timer switch. When fitted it will ensure that the interior lights are only on when they need to be and will turn off after a specific amount of time meaning flat batteries and wasted energy is a thing of the passed. The new improved timer switch still offers an IP68 case with the option of a 30 minute timer (TSWP30) or a 15 minute timer (TSWP15) as standard with other options available of request.

New LED Range from Labcraft – Twice as Bright as all the Rest

Yes it’s true; the new Labcraft LED products have excelled in recent testing. The Labcraft LED range uses the latest power LED technology to insure maximum light output with the optimum distribution of light. The recent tests, which were conducted against two rival products, were conducted with the light at a set height above the floor and readings were taken at equal distances away from the light.
The Labcraft products achieved a light reading of around 60 LUX at 2 metres; the new SI3 managed 61 LUX and the LED BL/BLC range achieved 59 LUX. If you compare this to the closest rival, which achieved only 13 LUX, you know that Labcraft are streets ahead of the rest.
It’s a fine line between cost and performance; you need to make sure the light will do the required job without costing the earth. Labcraft believe they have found just the right balance of performance and efficiency against cost.
Using the same LED’s in each light Labcraft have been able to reduce costs without reducing the quality of the light. The LED’s use only 0.3 amps of power; half of what a fluorescent light uses and is advertised to last up to 100,000 hours.

Labcraft will be opening an online shopping facility for retail and non-trade customers. It will give members of the public the opportunity to purchase small quantities of lights, something that has not been offered previously. The Labcraft shop will be open for business early 2006 and will have a secure online payment facility.
Logistics Show 2005
Labcraft exhibited at the Logistic Link North exhibition in September, meeting prospective clients from across the supply chain market. Olly Roe, Labcraft's sales manager said; "it is great to meet future customers in this kind of environment, you get some great leads and our products almost sell themselves"
