Labcraft illuminates the UK's tallest trailer for Howard Tenens

Howard Tenens, the leading sustainable logistics company in the UK, has been working with Labcraft to provide an environmentally friendly lighting solution for one of their newest and tallest trailers in the UK.

The POWER ASTRO has now been launched offering a concentrated weatherproof LED lighting option where a linear angled source of light is required.

The Opal has been designed for use in a wide variety of applications.

Opal (FX) Moulded from polycarbonate, this stylish shape is extremely robust and capable of withstanding substantial heat. The lens is clipped to the base plate by a specially designed lip which forms a weatherproof seal (IP54) when pushed together. The FX9 model is sealed to IP65 and this is achieved by the integration of a rubber O-ring. The XT (preheat) circuit is fitted as standard on the FX9 model increasing the tube life by over 10 times. One of two fixing trims can be placed over the light unit which provides external mounting holes. The base plate also has the facility for mounting screws so the OPAL can be installed without the fixing trim required. The standard model can be supplied with a variety of bulb configurations; 21W tungsten bayonet, 10W G4 halogen and a 9W compact fluorescent for use where more light is required and energy efficiency is important.
