PIR Timer Switch – auto switch for safety and efficiency
Labcraft’s market proven PIR timer switch (passive infrared sensor) is an automatic sensor/switch which has been designed to detect the movement of body heat in order to automatically activate the switch and trigger the lights, thereby increasing safety in the workplace.
Designed to operate multiple Labcraft lights with a maximum total current of 4.5A, the timer switches off after 30 seconds or 5 minutes (timings are product dependent) if no further movement is detected, preventing unnecessary load on the battery. If continuous movement is detected, the lights will remain switched on.
The PIR switch range is also available in an IP67 waterproof option, making it ideal for the refrigerated van and trailer market. The PIR switches are of low-profile design, robust construction and features a unique impact-deflection design, keeping obstruction and damage to a minimum.
